Samantha Day serves as co-Executive-Producer across several home & design series on Blind Nil’s growing slate. Titles include Fixer Upper: The Castle, The Retro Plant Shop with Mikey and Jo, and First Time Fixer. As a key player in the field, tracking story and streamlining the production process, Samantha is a primary resource in organizing major build/renovation projects across each construction and design milestone.

With over 18 years of experience in producing unscripted television, Samantha’s career has spanned across a variety of documentary programming, including medical, true crime, family, and makeover genres. Her love for purposeful storytelling began on PBS’s children series, Wishbone, as a writers assistant, and continued with a network stint at Lifetime Television in Los Angeles, before embracing production life on the road as a Writer, Field Producer and Supervising Producer. Samantha credits amazing mentors along the way who have helped her become a dedicated producer of compelling content.

When not discussing timelines with general contractors or preparing for a reveal, Samantha is passionate about politics, traveling and spending time outside with her two dogs.
