SVP, Programming + Development

Aric Laferriere’s role as SVP, Programming and Development includes executive oversight of development, production, and all programming across Blind Nil - including special projects in branded, commercial and social.

As lead creative executive on Blind Nil’s premiere slate, Aric has played a key role as Director on top-performing series like Silos Baking Competition and Magnolia Table with Joanna Gaines - in addition to leading commercial production for the Magnolia brand and Target’s Hearth & Hand product lines.

Aric began his television career in California at NBC Studios casting talent for a variety of NBC’s earliest unscripted programs. Before moving to the East Coast, Aric began producing series for Fremantle North America, Mark Burnett Productions and Sony Studios. As a creative professional in New York for 10 years, Aric served as an executive across a variety of productions. Highlights include: Creative Head of Production for Casey Patterson Entertainment overseeing Paramount Network’s Emmy-nominated series Lip Sync Battle, Vice President of Current at Lucky 8, Co-Executive Producer for the re-launch MTV’s Punk’d, and Executive at History Channel in production and development.

Passionate about food and flavor, Aric excels in the kitchen as a home chef and pitmaster - specializing in smoked meats and Italian-inspired dishes. As a committed outdoorsman, he also enjoys spending time fly fishing, camping, and crafting handmade tools and utensils.
